Corning® 96 Well Half-Area Microplate is ideal for reducing protein and nucleic acid binding at low concentrations, and increasing assay signal to noise. Black microplates have low background fluorescence and minimize light scattering. Designed to reduce well-to-well crosstalk during luminescent assays. Nonbinding Surface (NBS™) treated microplates have a non-ionic hydrophilic well surface, which makes them ideal for minimizing protein binding in homogeneous assays. Conforms to standard microplate footprint and dimensions. Flat bottom is best suited for detection. Lids are supplied separately.

Unique half area plates can help save on rare and expensive reagents by reducing the amount of reagent needed per well, while still being readable by most standard plate readers.
